New Shade from True Brit London - Sunday Best & Bow Tie Tutorial!

Hey there my lovely readers!

So May is upon us! And with it the return of 5 day working weeks...*wails in despair* I confess one of the many reasons I love Spring time (though its obvious that Spring is clearly broken at the moment) is the abundance of bank holidays, oh how we've been spoilt with these glorious long weekends.

Not the greatest start to the month with yours truly having a wisdom tooth extraction which I elected to have under local anesthetic because I'm either mental or a masochist. Most likely a bit of both. So one is currently on a cocktail of painkillers & anti-inflammatory's that could knock an elephant on its ass. Happy Days *cue creepy drug induced grin*

Powering on, today I have another deliciously delightful nail polish offering from True Brit London's newly released collection, pink ladies this is one for you...

What did I tell you? Swoon worthy right? This beautiful polish goes by the title *Sunday Best & is a stunning glossy fuchsia peony pink that gets its glorious edge with the addition of an opalescent pearly shimmer giving this pink a magical iridescent glow.

Afternoon Tea Adventures - Palm Court Afternoon Tea and Spa at The Langham

Hello there my lovely readers!

Another afternoon tea review for you today my loves! So far I've shared with you my experiences at Claridges & The Sanderson's Mad Hatter Tea. This time sees the turn of the beautiful Palm Court Afternoon Tea, another 'must try' on the bucket list of mine & which I was able to attend with a close chum who received a "Tea Therapy" spa day experience at The Langham for her birthday & kindly took me along with her. Spa AND afternoon tea? Yup, basically my idea heaven.

Afternoon Tea Adventures - The Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea at The Sanderson

Hello there lovely readers!

Did you all have a lovely Christmas? Normally I'm not fussed with getting time off but this year I managed to nab a few extra days & I won't lie, these past 6 days of doing nowt but rest, eat, relax & repeat have been bliss. However one must slowly come out of hibernation & join the real world at some point! Thankfully this week will be a short two day affair not to mention I'll finally be watching the new Star Wars film on Wednesday! Getting back into the swing of things on here too now with my next afternoon tea review! So far I've written about my Claridges experience which you can read HERE. Today I'll be sharing with you one for any Alice in Wonderland fans out there...

The Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea is one I'm sure many of my fellow afternoon tea addicts have heard of. This wonderfully themed experience is held at The Sanderson Hotel & I was finally able to try this much raved afternoon tea for a friends birthday & even though this was last year (please note changes may have been made since then!) I thought I'd still share the experience as part of my afternoon tea series.

Afternoon Tea Adventures - Claridges

Hello there lovely readers!

I'm sure it's no surprise when I tell you that I am a HUGE fan of afternoon tea. One of my favorite pastimes, there is nothing I enjoy more than an afternoon spent relaxing in loved ones company, sipping tea out of dainty cups & nibbling on delicious treats. Its such a decadent & quintessentially British tradition that I just adore. I've been fortunate to have experienced quite a few afternoon teas being the avid fan that I am, so I thought it would be nice to do a mini series on my blog & share with you the different ones I've tried in case you were considering doing one too! :)

Starting things off with one I recently attended, the Claridges Afternoon Tea in Mayfair. I even have a bucket list which includes some of the well known famous afternoon teas & Claridges was one that was present so I was very excited at finally ticking it off my list. Reservations have to be made up to 90 days in advance, thankfully my friend is very good at organising & managed to get us booked in for the 5pm slot.

We arrived a little bit early so first paid a visit to the ladies room were we checked in our coats & freshened up a tad whilst of course squeezing in a few cheeky selfies haha! Suitably refreshed we then made our way to the dining room where we were shown to our table by the attendant. The ambiance in the room is just beautiful with dimmed lighting & musicians in one section playing beautiful background music creating a dreamy relaxed atmosphere.
