Hey there lovely readers!

Despite it being mid March already (how the heck did that happen?!) Spring could not seem further away if the rainstorms of last week were anything to go by!

NOTD - Pumpkin Patch!

Hey there lovely readers!

I wasn't initially going to blog this nail art as I classed it as a bit of a mani FAIL really but I still thought it cute & heck if I didn't just wanna squeeze in as many Autumn manis as possible!

When I was in NYC *sobs* I stumbled across some of the loveliest  Autumnal displays overflowing with pumpkins & pretty fauna in shop windows, quaint neighbourhoods, outside  homes...not that I loitered like a weirdo at all... O_o Before I left for my trip I threw together this Pumpkin Patch look which NONE of my work colleagues guessed it was meant to be thus shattering my hopes in to a thousand pieces but hey ho...

NOTD - Napping Unicorns!

Hey there lovely readers!

In today's hectic world its muchly important to get plenty of rest, even for mythical creatures.. If anything they require it more so on account of all the wish granting, rainbow farting & other strenuous fairytale activities. So today I have some magical unicorns getting some shut eye partaking in one of my favourite hobbies...napping!

Halloween Nails - Jack O Lantern Pumpkins

Hello there lovely readers!

Now I hadn't planned on doing Pumpkin nails for Halloween this year, however the other day I found myself doodling away whilst on hold on the phone, as you do, & after my call was done I looked down to see I'd drawn me my very own pumpkin patch filled with grinning Jack O' Lanterns...

NOTD - Birthday Celebrations & Back To School Nails!

Hey there lovely readers!

Mondays are always rough but returning back to work was a struggle this week. If you follow me on the socials you'll know I waved goodbye to my twenties this weekend so saw fit to celebrate with some of my favourite things in the capital! Starting things off with The Tale As Old As Time Afternoon Tea which I had booked earlier this year & have practically been counting down the days for! To say I was excited is putting it lightly & it was just as wonderful as I'd hoped...review to come soon of course!
We then went to see Aladdin at the theatre & whilst The Lion King still has my heart, this definitely comes up as a close runner up as it was fantastic! Before finishing the night on a high in Soho (where this now 30 year old STILL got asked for ID, high fives!)

My friend & I then spent a blissful Sunday recuperating with Brunch in Westfield Stratford at Balans Soho Society (highly recommend) before heading to The London Cat Village to spend some time with the fur babies. I seriously need to right up a review of this place as I love it...cake AND cats? Basically heaven ;) So all in all a pretty darn satisfactory birthday I'd say. Bring on the thirties!

Speaking of returning back to things, last week saw the younger human generation head back or begin that time where their young minds are molded for the future! Not that I envy them, even though adulting can be majorly hard at times, the thought of going back to school fills me with dread!

NOTD - Cute Kawaii Chicks!

Hello there lovely readers,

So this post is going up a tad delayed, I had initially planned on Good Friday but unfortunately I was hit with some very sad news on Thursday. if you follow me on social media you'll know that last week I lost my beloved Miss Kitty. I can't even begin to explain how devastated my family & I are with the loss of my sweet Hoshi, those who know me well know how much my little furbaby meant to me, but my little one was just too poorly & it would have been cruel to keep her with us. She was such a big character its hard to think her gone & I was so overwhelmed & touched with the thoughtful messages received over the Easter break, it truly meant a lot to me so thank you so so much. RIP my little star.

On to todays post...despite it being a bit late I couldn't very well let Easter pass on through without some form of suitably themed nail art now could I? As always nail-spiration is in abundance with pastels, speckles & cute creatures galore, I so love creating something fun every year. Have a peek at some of previous Easter themed nail art including, Cheeky Bunny Booty nails which remain a firm fav for obvious reasons, my Easter Minion Chicks Tutorial for a fun take on the design as well as a wee White Wabbit Tutorial featuring some speckled goodness too.

This year I decided to go down the chick route again but with a slight kawaii twist & created these cute little newborn chickadees popping out of their shells with their curious faces & batting us with their eyelashes :)

NOTD - Candy Stripe Nails!

Hello there lovely readers!

This weekend saw myself & my lovely blogger pals Grace & Safira head off on a wee little road trip to Southampton to celebrate with Ayshe & some other fab ladies for her Hen Weekend! Yup, my buddy Ayshe is getting married & in a few weeks no less! Not only that but afterwards she will be relocating to Oman, exciting! I'm a mixture of sad that Ayshe will be so far but also so happy & excited for my friend & the new adventures that will come her way & I wish her the best of luck!

Speaking of blogger friends, you may recall from my previous post the package of treats that darling Chelle spoilt me with for Xmas. Included in the package was the divine Pastel Collection from Face of Australia that literally had me drooooooling! I couldn't wait to get those pretty pastels on my nails & picking one was just too darn hard so I used the bunch in this Candy Stripe mani...
