Afternoon Tea Adventures - Do You Like Chocolate?

Hello there lovely readers,

I think we are all in agreement that the answer to the question in the title of this post is & always will be YES. Afternoon Tea is my favourite pastime (I know...I'll give you a moment to pick yourself up from the floor after fainting from the shock of this statement) Add chocolate to the mix & I'm pretty much Homer Simpson in that well known chocolate land heaven dream sequence.

When my buddy Ram & I arranged a long awaited catch up sesh, it was a no brainer that afternoon tea would be the order of the day. So I booked us in for the Do You Like Chocolate? Experience at the Kimpton Fitzroy in London. Upon arrival I knew we were in for a treat with our tea set in the stunningly flamboyant & retro vibed Fitz bar room complete with its own disco ball suspended from the ceiling!

Afternoon Tea Adventures - Dukes London (Vegan Friendly!)

Hello there lovely readers and a happy new year!

Its been quite some time since we have had some afternoon tea action in these parts, so for the first post of 2020 lets rectify that shall we?

2019 was filled with its fair share of downers let me tell you. But amongst the lows there were some magical highs too, one being finally meeting my beautiful online chum Georgie for the first time after "knowing" each other in the online universe for years. Truly one of the kindest souls I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, this is another reason why I will forever be grateful for blogging.

Afternoon Tea Adventures - Charlie and The Chocolate Factory at One Aldwych

Hello there lovely readers,

It has been a hot minute since I've done an afternoon tea review which is crazy as I've had SO much material to share what with it being my favourite pastime & all. But this year seems to have gone off kilter in a major way with a lot going on with work, health & LIFE, hence the huge backlog,

So lets get back on track a wee bit shall we & what better way than with the help of chocolate to kick start things again.  Naturally as soon as I heard that a Charlie and The Chocolate Factory Afternoon Tea existed it immediately went on to the ever growing "must try" list, I mean who ISN'T a fan of the magical world of Roald Dahl AND chocolate?

Afternoon Tea Adventures - Fortnum & Masons

Hey there lovely readers!

Ooooh its been a long while since I've added to my Afternoon Tea Adventures! Shocking really as I sampled some amazing ones for my birthday month last year where I partook in one EVERY weekend! Needless to say I rolled out of September a few cakes heavier but NO REGRETS. Each one was absolutely amazing & I now have lots of material to share with you so you see...it was ALL for blogging purposes ;)

Afternoon Tea Adventures - The Hilton Paddington

Hey there lovely readers!

Yup its that time again friends, more tea and cake goodness! It was my birthday last month in September, Virgo babies FTW! And in celebration I partook in an Afternoon Tea or two EVERY weekend & thus I have LOTS of material to blog for you including finally visiting the famous Fortnum & Mason's as well as a Charlie & The Chocolate Factory Themed Tea so there will be plenty of reviews to come...!

My lovely pal Fei & I arranged to meet in the capital for a quick catch up a while back & decided to find somewhere nice for a spot for tea by Paddington as it was a convenient location for the both of us. Thankfully located right by the station is a Hilton hotel, whose Afternoon Tea I had already sampled at one of their other locations, you can read my review of that HERE. And after being incredibly impressed I was more than happy to give the Paddington offering a go!

Afternoon Tea Adventures - The Savannah Bar and Restaurant

Hello there lovely readers!

Another day another Afternoon Tea adventure to share with you my lovelies!

Today's post is all about The Savannah Bar & restaurant in Euston Street whose afternoon tea I recently experienced whilst visiting a friend in London. I'm always on the lookout for new & intriguing Afternoon Teas to try & The Savannah caught my interest as not only did the tea itself look interesting but The Savannah is an eco-friendly restaurant with all its food ethically sourced from sustainable local suppliers & family run businesses which I love!

Afternoon Tea Adventures - Number Ten Manchester Street Hotel

Hey there lovely readers!

Hope you are all well & had a lovely Xmas! I thought I wouldn't get the chance to blog again before the new year but luckily I brought my laptop home with me just in case the need arose & I managed to find some time away from all the eating & family times. As its been a while I thought I'd tackle my favourite kind of tea & cake talk with another Afternoon Tea Review!

Earlier this year the lovely Meg aka RainCoatesBeauty came over to my end of the pond for a visit. I;ve been following Meg on Twitter for a while, the girl is hilarious & a lot of what she tweets is often exactly what I'm thinking, her Trump tweets in particular are absolute GOLD. I honestly think she is my Canadian twin!

Anyhoo when I heard she would be passing through London I simply could not let her go without meeting for a date & naturally the activity of choice was obviously going to be an afternoon tea of course!

I decided to book the Dieci Afternoon Tea which is situated within the lovely Edwardian style boutique Number Ten Manchester Street Hotel, a short stroll away from Baker Street, so it is very nice & accessible.

Afternoon Tea Adventures - The Hotel Du Vin

Hello there lovely readers!

Gosh I am so behind with writing up my afternoon tea escapades of late. I've experienced some lovely ones over the past few months that l want to share with you but I don't know where the time is going lately! But did you know that its actually Afternoon Tea Week right now?! So perfect time to rectify the situation I'd say. So lets make a start today with a review of another lovely afternoon tea in one of my favourite places to visit, Henley.

I've already written about my first afternoon tea experience in this delightful town at The Red Lion Hotel which was fabulous, so do have a read of that. When I heard that there was another offering within Henley then you can be certain that I was eager to try it! This afternoon tea in particular is at The Hotel Du Vin. I actually saw a fellow blogger friend Instagram a photo of the tea, I knew straight away I had to try it & I can assure you it had NOTHING to do with the fact that candy floss would be served as part of it...*side eye* O_o

NOTD - Cupcake Nail Art Tutorial

Hello there lovely readers!

Its no secret my love of the sweet things, being the afternoon tea addict that I am I couldn't NOT be partial to a slice or ten of cake hmm? If anything its absolutely necessary for blogging purposes, if I didn't adore cake...no afternoon tea reviews...sad times.

When I can combine my petite joys in life with my other greatest passion, nail art in case you didn't know that already....yes I can feel the waves of shock emitting from you O_o, then that makes me a happy sweet toothed bunny! As you can see I got my inspiration for todays nail art from that bonny wee treat everyone loves to indulge in....cupcakes!

Afternoon Tea Adventures - The Arch Hunter 486

Hello there my lovely readers!

More tea and cake reviewing time! So one of my dearest friends & favourite humans celebrated their birthday recently therefore naturally we marked said occasion with my favourite pastime...afternoon tea of course!

I wanted to try somewhere new so after a bit of browsing, it was the Royal Afternoon Tea at The Arch London which caught my eye, so booked it I did & off we went! FYI I nearly always use the website afternoontea.co.uk as my main port of call when afternoon tea hunting, it really is fantastic as you can book everything online so easily & search for teas in any area of the UK you like. As we were spending the whole day in London, naturally I searched for one in the city.

Afternoon Tea Adventures - The Ritz!

Hello there lovely readers!

Aaah the Ritz...well I couldn't very well do an afternoon tea series on my blog & NOT include the infamous & quintessentially English institution that is "Tea at The Ritz" now could I? ;)

The world famous Ritz hotel in Mayfair is well known for its award winning afternoon tea affair & tis one that is on many afternoon tea fans 'must try' list including mine! So of course I was excited to finally be able to attend for mumma bears birthday last year. (yes its taken me THIS long to write about it...bad form Aysh)

Afternoon Tea Adventures - The Red Lion Henley On Thames

Hello there my lovely readers!

Pinch punch & all that jazz! How is it March already?! One of the things I will most definitely be continuing on this old blog of mine this year is reviews of my favourite pastime....afternoon tea! I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I do writing & of course experiencing them ;)

Now a lot of the afternoon tea reviews I've written about on HERE have mostly been experiences that can be done in London as there really are so many great ones to try in the capital.

Afternoon Tea Adventures - The Keepers House London

Hello there lovely readers!

So I've been a busy bee lately & by busy I of course mean eating ALL THE CAKE at some rather delightful afternoons teas...a VERY important task I'm sure you'll agree, which also means I have more reviews coming your way! I take my cake eating & tea sampling very seriously...its a hard job but I guess someone has to do it...

Today I'll be writing about the afternoon tea at The Keepers House Restaurant which is situated near Piccadilly Circus inside the Burlington Royal Academy of Arts. I was meeting my chums Ram & Saf for a good catch up sesh in the city so I suggested going for an afternoon tea as I always do & this one came up on my latest perusal of the afternoontea.co.uk website...having never tried & also loving the central location I decided to book it for our 3 way date.

Hello there lovely readers!

Oooh its been a while, these past weeks have been all manners of madness as I recently moved closer to my work. But things finally seem to be falling into place & normality can resume! Though don't get me started on how much I'm missing my furbaby Miss Kitty who had to stay with the folks as I may become a sobbing wreck!

Afternoon Tea Adventures - The Hilton Green Park Afternoon Tea in Mayfair

Hello there lovely readers!

My darling pal Jene from NYC visited our side of the pond last year which gave me all the happy vibes! I have so much love for this girl whom I randomly met on a train around 4 years ago & now count as one of my top chums despite the distance. Anyhoos after discovering that her lovely travelling companion Tracy had NEVER been to an afternoon tea before...well...I was more than happy to rectify this!

I decided to take them to The Hilton Green Park Hotel which is in the heart of Mayfair. I found this one on the website afternoontea.co.uk which is ALWAYS my main go to for hunting down good afternoon teas. This website is fantastic as you can search for ones nearby to you & around London as well as being able to book online.
