NOTD - Romantic Pink Lotus

Hey there lovely readers!

Okay so I'm clearly feeling all the Valentines/Galentines vibes as the majority of my mani's at the moment seem to be ending up distinctively pink/red in tone! ;)

And today's nail art look is no exception, another floral design no less as well! What can I say, I adore them. Going for a different bloom from my recent Roses, this time I've done a romantic Pink Lotus floral look & I am so happy with how these turned out!

NOTD - Pink Lemonade by True Brit London

Hello there lovely readers!

Happy hump day! Its Wednesday so I'd say that calls for a pink fix eh? Even though the current weather situation leaves a lot to be desired, the fact that I had to switch on my car heater this week is simply tragic, that doesn't mean we can't embrace the fact that it IS still summer, on our nails! Despite mother natures efforts...

TrueBrit London have truly captured & embodied the summertime vibes beautifully with their recent Garden Party collection. I've shown you a couple of the the lovely shades already, Dolly Mixture & Tally Ho. Today we have the delightful *Pink Lemonade.

Pink Lemonade is a pretty pale pink cream with a soft satin finish giving a subtle fizzy shimmer to the shade.

This was two coats applied & as always with True Brit London, the formula was dreamy to apply, smooth, streak free & opaque.

I always finish with a coat of my HG CND Air Dry topcoat, not only does it give a lovely glossy look but your nails will be touch dry in minutes!

All the True Brit London polishes can be found online for £12.50. And if you beauts want 10% off, pssshhh why of course you do, then simply use my code TRULY10 :)

Thanks as always for reading!

Lotsa love to ya!

NOTD - Dolly Mixture by True Brit London

Hello there my lovely readers!

If you follow my blog then I'm sure you're familiar with one of my favourite polish brands True Brit London.

I've shared a few of their beautiful polishes with you on HERE & my love for this British brand still goes strong. Everything about them appeals to my polish satisfaction needs, gorgeous packaging, divine formulas & most of all I adore the patriotic vibes of their collections, highlighting truly quintessential British vibes.

True Brit London have excitingly released some new pretty shades for Spring/Summer 2016 to add to their ever growing collections which I can't wait to share with you too. Take a looky...aren't they just completely SWOON worthy?

Ooooh decisions decisions...which one to try out first...twas a difficult one but I was in the mood for some sweet pinky goodness & *Dolly Mixture delivered on this perfectly!

Dolly Mixture is part of the Garden Party collection & is as the name suggests, the most delightfully sweet confectionery pink creme shade.

Here I've used two coats which applied beautifully, the formula is thick with the creme's however very easy to work with & you are left with a smooth glossy pretty pink mani almost gel like in its finish.

I decided to rock one of my Jamberry nail wraps as an accent with my Dolly Mixture nails & the Beverly Hills nail wrap went perfectly with it!

I am utterly obsessed with these nail wraps which are a fab fun way to jazz up your mani's, available in over 300 different designs to choose from & have a longevity of 2 weeks.

They come in sheets of 18 wraps, enough for 2 manicure & 2 pedicures, or just use them all on your nails! I've written a full post on the Jamberry nail wraps HERE & you can purchase them via my website for just £15 HERE

I think Dolly Mixture would also look delightful with a white French tip, reminiscent of the sweet itself so will definitely try that out next time!

You can find True Brit London online for £12.50 a pop & you can also get 10% off your order using my code TRULY10. Keep posted for more swatches of the pretty new True Brit London polishes!

Thanks for reading!

NOTD - British Blue by True Brit London

Hello lovely readers!

One of my favourite products to come out this year so far has got to be the delicious scented nail polish removers from True Brit London. Available in scrumptious Strawberry & Cream or Elderflower & Cucumber flavours, I think they are such a clever & innovative idea & you will literally be itching to take of that polish!

Of course True Brit London's pride & joy are their beautiful polishes, the packaging is just divine & I adore the patriotic British themes of their collections! You can check out some of the stunning shades which I have blogged all about HERE. Today I have another beauty for you dolls, the delightful & simply titled...British Blue

British Blue from the Contemporary collection, is a pretty perriwinkle blue creme formula & you'll be happy to hear...this un is a one coater! Despite being a religious two coater myself what you see here is one coat alone for a delightfully opaque creamy finish.

The formula was easy to work with, applying nice & smoothly & I adore the shade of this blue which immediately reminded me of the gorgeous Wedgwood crockery that is often present at afternoon tea, very British indeed!

I wanted to add a little something extra so continuing with the Wedgwood theme, I recall seeing a pretty cup & saucer once with a beautiful gilded gold edging around the rim.

So I reached for True Brit London Heirloom, a gorgeous rose tinted champagne metallic foil, & applied a single vertical line down the centre using a fine nail art brush before adding a couple of dots at the bottom by the cuticle. Easy peasy nail art!

Finish with a coat of True Brit London Gloss Top coat & your done! True Brit London polishes (RRP £12.50) are available online as well as those delightful scented polish removers! (RRP £5.95) You can also get 10% off your order using my code TRULY10

Thanks as always for reading!

Lotsa love to ya!

NOTD - Lady Penelope by True Brit London

Hullo lovely readers!

Wooo scorching enough for you?! Hope you're all coping with this heatwave okay dolls!

Time to share another pretty polish offering from new nail polish brand *True Brit London. So far I've shown you the delights that were *Cream Tea & *Knightsbridge. Today sees the turn of a pow wow shade if there ever was one, here we have *Lady Penelope from the English Rose collection...

What did I tell you? Now that's a shade to get your nails noticed! Inspiration for this shade came from none other than the iconic secret agent who oozes sophisticated style in abundance, the Lady Penelope from the much loved retro show Thunderbirds.

Lady Penelope is a vibrantly pigmented fuchsia creme polish, of course it would be, I would expect nothing else from a polish named after the field agent with a penchant for all kinds of pink! Major car envy FYI...

The formula was lovely to work with, this is two coats applied over the *True Brit London Caviar base coat. Application was smooth & opaque in finish, with quick drying time.

In honour of Lady Penelope, I opted for some added detail in the form of cute pink heart rhinestones applied to each nail, before sealing with the *True Brit London Gloss topcoat for a super glossy finish.

Another stunner! It has to be said that True Brit London have really impressed me with their innovative range. The polishes I've tried so far have been top notch in quality & deliverance & I still have one last shade to share with you so do keep your eyes peeled for that as its a bobby dazzler!

Also, a little treat for you, the lovely folks over at True Brit London have offered to give you, my beautiful readers, a 10% discount off  your order! Simply use the code TRULY10. :) And if that wasn't fab enough, they are currently celebrating Wimbledon with a special 15% off for a limited time! Simply enter DEUCE for your discount. The entire range can be found online.

Thanks as always for reading, till next time!

Lotsa love to ya!
