Disney Nail Art Series - Cinderella Fairy-tale Butterfly Wings!

Hello there my lovely readers,

Not too long ago I decided to begin a Disney Nail Art series on my blog, combing my everlasting adoration for the two passions in my life...nail art & Disney!

I started things off with this Beauty & The Beast manicure which I thought was quite a fitting way to begin the series as the new live action film had just been released. 

I've, rather unexpectedly I'll admit, adored ALL the live action Disney remakes that have been made so far & if my sources are correct there are many more to come! Cinderella was one of the Disney classics that was recently remade & I absolutely loved it, not just for the glorious presence of one Richard Madden as Prince Charming & the divine Cate Blanchett whom I adore as the Evil Stepmother! Lily James as Cinderella herself was a bit meh in my opinion but I still adored the movie mostly due to its beautiful consistent message throughout the film..."Have Courage & Be Kind" A motto I think everyone should live by...

I noticed in the film that butterflies were quite prominently featured so I decided to use this as my main inspiration as well as the beautiful perriwinkle blue shade I've come to associate with Cinderella. Combining these two magical properties I ended up with this finished look...Golden Blue Butterfly Wing Cinderella nails fit for a fairytale princess...

Its been a wee while since I've done a step by step nail art pictorial so I thought I'd rectify that today with some Butterfly Wing nails :) 

I've seen this nail design many times & its one I've been itching to try. Not only is it super pretty but so easy to do as well!

Festive NOTD - Reindeer Nails!

Feeling a wee bit melancholy to have reached the end of my nice long weekend break! Those who are off now for the whole of Xmas, I am very jealous, that is all & those who are venturing back to the office tomorrow...I feel your pain, but hey at least the week will be a short un :)

Time is on my side for once & there's still some left till Xmas so lets squeeze in another few festive mani's shall we? Today I have probably my most favourite festive mani so far to share with you lovelies....Reindeer Nails!

Festive NOTD - Snow Queen Inspired Nails

So December is upon us & things are beginning to look a lot like Xmas....though to be fair they did seem to look rather Crimbo-ish over a month a go ;) Ready to get all festive on here which means...Xmas themed manis! 

Time granted I hope to do some year & I thought I'd start things off with a Snow Queen Inspired Manicure which I've done for The Snow Queen Challenge, a fab idea thought up by the lovely ladies Kellie aka BigFashionista & Sara of TheAgoraphobicFashionista & is open to all bloggers to take part in to create a Snow Queen Inspired look be it nails, makeup or outfit! Naturally I was eager to think up some nails suitable for the theme so here we go!

Today's post involves some sparkle courtesy of 2True Cosmetics as we are venturing into THAT time of year where sparkle is required in abundance! I've been a fan of 2True polishes for a while as they have a lovely range of good quality shades at very reasonable prices. This latest range, Sequins is part of the 2True Pro range & features a beautiful collection of sparkly pretty glitters named after Supermodels of the 90's which is a concept I love!

In this quick mani I've used the shade *Tyra, the gold shade in the range, which also includes Christy (Silver), Eva (Blue), Elle (Red) & Naomi (Purple).

Hello 3 day weekend! Good feelings :D Do you have anything nice planned? As sods law would have it, the bank holiday weekend would be the one weekend where moi is completely car-less! My little brum brum has had to go to car hospital for repairs (entirely NOT my fault by the way) & am currently suffering major withdrawal symptoms, but I'll have to make do ;) Tomorrow I'll be making my way to the capital to spend quality fun time with some lovely bloggers, picnic-ing in Hyde Park is on the agenda along with what I'm told could be a most epic water gun blogger battle of biblical proportions...I am excited ;p
