NOTD - Anna Sui Inspired Florals!

Hello there lovely readers!

Another day another floral look! I think its obvious florals are LIFE for me when it comes to nail art, ooooh they just make me swoon with happiness & this particular nail art design is no exception, I think this may be my most favorite floral look for a while!

As you can see I've gone for some negative space action here, a bit of vampy darkness, some sweet florals with a bit of gold thrown in! I was actually inspired by the beautiful floral packaging Anna Sui has for her polishes! Alas I do not own an Anna Sui polish but I can still channel her on my nails right!?

I also used my number one nail art brush Needle by SoNailcious to help create those blooms but more on that in a bit...

First I applied Models Own Raven Red Hypergel on two thirds of my nail leaving the bottom bare for that dark vampy base. The bottom edge does not have to be neat as you'll be covering it up!

Then for my three rose blooms I applied three splodges of white to each nail to start.

I chose three different shades for my roses, one pink, Loreal Pink O Pop, one red, Gucci Iconic Red & one perriwinkle blue, Loreal Cloud Wow. Grabbing each shade one at a time & using my Needle brush, which is thin & PERFECT for more detailed nail art, I added small swirls to create the petals. Once done I went back in with a bit of white to blend the colours.

To finish the roses I grabbed some green polish & again using my beloved Needle added on some fauna with some green leaves.

Almost done, I finally grabbed my gold nail tape applied a strip of gold to the bottom third of each nail to complete! You can pick up nail tape super cheaply in various colours & widths from eBay & Born Pretty Store. It really adds that extra special touch to mani don't you think?

Finishing it all with obligatory topcoat of course and you're done! I honestly did not want to take these off! I hope you love them too, until next time!
