Hello there lovely readers! Are you all
having a lovely weekend? Its been such a beautiful day, the sun came
out in all its glory & twas spent indulging in a delightful
birthday afternoon treat catching up with a good matey. Afternoon tea
never fails to lift ones spirits & I am now in a very ready to
nap state, which means that it was very successful *thumbs up*
So a beautiful bright day calls for an
equally beautiful & bright polish I say, therefore I'm bringing
forth a yummy combination courtesy of Barry M today, the stunning
Greenberry & Sour Apple
Greenberry was one of those shades, the moment my polish radar even detected its presence I knew I had to have it... I find this happens quite regularly o_O But can you blame me? Just look at it!
Greenberry is part of Barry M's Gelly
Hi Shine range & is a simply stunning & eye catching
turquoise mint green, a most jolly polish for sure.
I applied two coats to each nail,
formula as always with Barry M was great, very easy to work with
despite being a tad thicker to create the gel like finish.
Next I used a couple of coats of Barry
M Sour Apple to my middle & ring fingers. Sour Apple is from
Barry M's Confetti collection & consists of super fine yellow &
blue bar glitters. Bar glitter can be very hit & miss however I
just love this combo, even more so as its a pretty identical dupe to
the more expensive Nails Inc Brighton Feather Effect polish, win!
Do excuse the dodgy topcoat application
there, was clearly rushing! Two pretty shades simply perfect for the
summer months in my opinion! Barry M polishes retail for £3.99 &
are available from Boots & Superdrug. Thanks as always for
reading lovelies!
Lotsa love to ya!
Thanks Lisa! And I totally get what you mean, I'm not the hugest fan of bar glitter but I like how fine the glitter pieces are in the Confetti polishes, though it does take some getting used to! A thick topcoat also helps to smoothen out the texture a tad! xoxo
