NOTD - Bronze Glitter Gradient

Hello there lovely readers!

Yesterday saw me visiting London town again with my buddy Saf, where we attended the London Blogger Meet organized by the lovely Emma who is jetting off to Oz at the end of the year the lucky thing! It was held at The Warwick Pub & really was so much fun; I don’t think I’ve laughed so much in yonks! An afternoon spent doing some of my favorite things, eating, chatting, & hanging out with bloggers…AWESOME GOOD TIMES. Met so many lovely ladies too whom I really hope to see again very soon in the near future :D

On to today’s post, so I seem to be a tad obsessed with glitter gradients at the mo. I just bloomin loves them I tells ya! Here’s one I did recently, the results of which, if I do say so myself, I was pretty chuffed with :) It got some lovely compliments which always make me happy & not just that, but I actually tweeted a pic of this mani for Grazia magazines #manicuremonday on Twitter…& they ended up putting it up on their website alongside some other fab entries! Woo! :D This time I went for pretty bronze glitter over a nude base…

What do ya think? The base is two coats of Barry M Nude, which I bought after seeing it on Alexis’s blog & like she says, it really IS the perfect nude shade. A sort of, your nails but better polish. It also has the loveliest glossy finish, just LUSH.

For the glitter gradient, I used this stunning bronze glitter which I picked up from that favourite nail polish hunting ground of mine…Poundland! Yup, just one pound for this mighty pretty polish which is jam packed with the sparkliest bronze glitters. I’ve wanted a bronze glitter for ages & this was just the perfect little jackpot.

To create the gradient I applied a first coat ¾ down the nail, once that had dried I went in again with another coat, this time only ½ way down & then finally apply a 3rd coat just along the tips. Finish with a top of speed dry top coat & finito!

I do recommend using a speed dry topcoat as it does take quite a while to dry due to all the layers. But definitely worth it!

Thanks as always for reading lovelies! Hope you liked! Are you a fan of gradients?

Lotsa love to ya!
