Festive NOTD - Mint Sparkle Snowflakes

Hi there lovely readers!

I was in two minds about whether to share this nail art...Even though I loved the frosty mint colour, I think the pale base made my snowflakes & holo glitter stickers get a tad lost amongst the background so I kinda class this as a mani fail haha! But hey you win some you lose some right?

I snapped up some of these snazzy Limited Edition Unicorn Holographic Nail Art Stickers from SoNailicious a while back & have been itching for an opportunity to use them. I planned on using them here as a subtle hint of sparkle background for my snowflakes but as you can see...they kinda disappeared completely behind the snowflake...O_o

I first applied my shimmery mint base colour. For this I used one coat of that oh so famous & well known polish....Essie Mint Candy Apple.

To give the mint a pretty shimmer, on top of the Essie I applied one coat of this pretty green toned almost holo shimmer top-coater by KIKO in shade 298.

Once the polish was dry I then added 4 of the small circular unicorn holo nail stickers to each nail & on top of these I free-handed a delicate snowflake design using white polish. You  can see how to create a similar snowflake design from my Snowflake Step by Step Tutorial HERE. You can still SORT OF see some unicorn shimmer from the stickers can't you...?*INTERNALLY SCREAMING*

For my little finger I decided to do a little accent instead with two coats of Deborah Lippmann Glitter In The Air, a milky pale blue green cream with multicoloured suspended glitter...an interesting shade to be sure!

Finish it all with topcoat of course. I think next time I will definitely pick a darker base to really use those holo stickers to their full potential! You can catch all of my Christmas Nail Art looks HERE. Thanks as always for reading!

Lotsa love to ya!
